sebenarnya nenek dh lama nk post entry ni but becoz of nenek teramat la bznya since this month, so i dont have the time nk postkan.
u see, awal bulan jun lepas atok brought me to a nice restaurant to celebrate his birthday. (no, nenek tak belanja dia, dia yang belanja nenek. which is funny, i think. masa birthday dia, dia belanja nenek, masa birthday nenek, nenek pulak yang belanja dia). that very nice restaurant, situated in Damansara Utama yang namanya Naili’s Place yang selalu keluar tv because of its nice interior design and good foods and classy environment and best part of all is the reasonable price. if u think that classy places will charge u lebih for its environment, (UTPians, think in2eat) then u might have to reconsider. all the prices of foods in this restaurant is very reasonable and not so expensive despite the nice environment and decorations. dahla masa atok bawak nenek kt situ, masa tu malam. so bertambahla suasana romantik dia. ooooh… nenek adalah sgt teruja…
tapi silapnya satu, masa datang sana, we were both very hungry. so being a truly malay, of course la we go for the nasik kan? so instead of makan those juicy chicken chop or ‘makanan orang putih’ (at least the photo in their menu show the how juicy the chicken chop is), kitorang g order makanan malaya pulak. a kueytiaw goreng for me, and a nasik goreng for him.
and the food….UUUuuu…. nenek naik ghairah setiap kali teringat foods nya. the kueytiaw goreng is very moist, with lots of prawns, squids and kerang. all of those yang nenek suka. nasik goreng atok pulak, with some salad at the side, kepak ayam madu, special sauce, telur goreng and keropok… my goodness, it taste heavenly!
bila dh siap makan, we sit there and borak2 and the environment was very condusive for romantik talks because the romantic songs was in the backgroud. and the waiter tak de pun yang pandang kami dengan keji sbb kami lepak situ lama2 walaupun they already kemas all our dishes. but being a considerate customer, we order la dessert and some french fries to extend our ‘eligibility’ to lepak2 kt sana. haha. (even though when i think back about it, i think mmg derg tak kisah pun kami lepak lama2 because many of thier customers pun just order air and duduk borak2. they just wanted to relax and enjoy the environment)
after we finish our romantic talks, atok hantar nenek balik. half way nk sampai wangsamaju, suddenly i remembered their juicy chicken chop. i looked at atok yang tgh drive tu intently sampai dia look at me balik.
"what?" he asked. nenek sengih.
"jgn bagitau saya awk tertinggal apa2 kt restaurant tadi.." he warned. i shook my head.
"abis tu? pandang saya lain macam je? u wanted to say thank you ke? terharu ek?". atok kadang2 adalah poyo.
"no lah" i said. "errr…sebenarnya, rasa nyesal lak order kueytiaw tadi. sy terasa nk makan chicken chop la."
he screeched to stop and look at me lama2 before he expelled his breath. DUSHH! dia sekeh nenek.
"awak ni macam keling" he said before dia drive hantar nenek balik….
